Meal Planning

Meal planning, something I NEVER use to do. When it was just Chris and I we would fly by the seat of our pants and we ate whatever, including many meals out. I look back now and think of the amount of money we could have saved.

Each week, I make my meal plan. I look through the cupboards to see what we already have, set a budget and go shop. It almost becomes a bit of a challenge for me, simply because if I am under budget than that is extra money that we put towards our debt.

Once in a routine of planning meals, you will be able to:
  • Save money on your grocery bill each week.
  • Save money (and boost your health) by not eating last-minute prepackaged or fast foods.
  • Eat a wider variety of healthy meals because you’ll be in the habit of planning and checking out new recipes
  • Get your kids involved in the process of cooking family meals.
  • Save time and gas by not making extra trips to the store on the fly for dinner
Here is what our meal plan looks like for this week :

Over the next week Chris and I  are going to jump back into some Insanity Max 30 workouts and use a bit of the Beachbody on Demand which is such a great option to try other workouts too! Since returning from holidays we have been a little lax and we NEED to get back into routine.

As we move into April I will be running another Free challenge group as well as a new 21 Day Fix Challenge group......with the warm weather approaching it makes me think of pulling out those summer clothes. If you are wanting to be warm weather ready than I recommend starting now! Message me and I would be more than happy to work with you towards your goals:)
