Crock Pot Lasagna

Ingredients (6 Servings)
  • 6 whole wheat lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey, browned and drained
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 1/2 cups spinach
  • 1 jar (28 oz) low sodium spaghetti sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 container (16 oz) low-fat cottage cheese( I sometimes use Ricotta)
  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, grated
Instructions
Break noodles in half. Layer half the noodles on the bottom of the greased crock-pot.
Stir Italian seasoning into meat and spread half the mixture over the noodles. 
Then add half of the following: sauce, water, cottage cheese, and mozzarella.
Repeat the process for an additional layer,
Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours.

Enjoy with a side salad

  1. Might be a dumb question, but are you adding spinach right into the crockpot at some point? Or is it for the side salad?

  2. Yes I add the spinach right in the crock pot!!
