Back to School, Back to You-BEGINS AUGUST 22!

I have been pretty silent over here on the blog but I can't really give a true reason except that I just haven't been making the time. I was beginning to let tasks slide at hand, and I haven't been 100% committed to a plan since returning home from Nashville(which will be another blog post coming up!) So when I wasn't fully committed, I felt like I couldn't really share with others or help others on their journey.....

BUT....

I am back. As of today I have recommitted to the newest program Country Heat. The nutrition guide is the exact same as the 21 Day Fix so it's relatively easy to follow. I would like to say I fell off the wagon, but I am gonna say that I just took a vacation and enjoyed it with my family. I did exercise and get my water/superfoods shake in but I enjoyed some treats! This is me, I love treats and will always embrace the 80/20 rule!

Here is my plan for getting back on track and a few tips to do so if you feel like you're in the same boat:

1. Pick which workout program or form of exercise you are going to do. 
Will you be doing the 21 Day Fix, going to the gym, walking for 30 mins? Decide what your exercise will be and set a time of day that you WILL be able to stay consistent with.

2. Meal Plan
THIS is one the simple most important things to do when you want to see success. Without a plan it leaves to many unknowns and quick grab and go. Developing a meal plan will help you stick to being on plan and also map out when you will enjoy your "20" of the week!

3. Increase Water
I aim to drink half my body weight in ounces of water everyday. Not only will you notice your body flushing out extra water weight but your skin will thank you too! BONUS: water will keep you fuller longer!

4. Before Photos
Not one single person LOVES to take before photos, but they are critical in seeing your success pay off quickly in the beginning. There are too many variables with weighing yourself on a scale! I will always rely solely on pictures and sometimes measurements!

This past weekend when I knew I would be recommitting this week the first thing I did was head to Pinterest to find some new recipes to try with my family this week. I realized that I was becoming bored with the same old things week to week....although I am a creature of habit, it;s not fair to them to have to eat the same things....SO a few new things on the menu for this week!!!
