Taking control and fighting back!!!

I don't know about you, but for me the week BEFORE my period hits....is a craving escalated emotional mess:) I crave everything and I usually end up with a short temper...PLEASE tell me I am not alone with this!! I typically blame it on having Endometriosis which will cause both of these things to happen but one thing that happens month after month is the "bloat" It drives me nuts because I work SO hard all month just to have Aunt Flow move into town for the week and I get so discouraged.

After chatting with my husband last night I know the culprits and I can't sit back and ignore it any more just to live in this negative monthly cycle. I am the only one that can control this, and if I choose not to than I can't feel sorry for myself. Wheat causes my endo to become inflamed so if I choose to eat it, that's my own fault. This is the difference between Monday and today with controlling these things!!!


 This week I started to focus on a low carb diet...and I am trying to find ways to enjoy foods that I love in a healthier way. Pancakes are a weakness for me and if you ever google Protein Pancakes over on IG...your mouth WILL water. I thought I had to have "special" mix for it until I realized I have Shakeology! That should work JUST the same as the protein powders!!!

So I whipped up a batch this morning and they are DELICIOUS!!!! Although I wish I had some PB2 because pouring the Peanut Butter over it would have been SO much better!!!!

Here is the recipe!!!



1 scoop Shakeology(I used Choc. Vegan)
2 eggs
1tsp Vanilla
1/4cup Almond Milk

It will appear thick but pour your first one in the pan and see if you need to add a touch more water!

VOILA! Protein Pancakes!!! I melted some peanut butter on there and sliced up some bananas.

This is me winning this month AGAINST the endo!!!!
